With a long standing singing background in the music industry (Jim won a national talent competition singing "Mustang Sally" and performed at the biggest venues as lead singer for a major soul band before moving on to singing swing) Jim McAllister has sung Sinatra with several Big Bands including The Syd Lawrence Orchestra (SLO) the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra Fat Chops Gary Allcock Allstars Sticky Wicket and The South Side Big Band.

With his own backing tracks and P.A. for work as a solo performer Jim can also sing with a trio five-piece or any Big Band and the very best of musicians are all clamouring to work with him so you can be assured of booking in complete confidence.

More recently Jim sings in Debbie Isitt's new film 'Confetti' where he covers a number of classic hits on their sound track and he is also the voice over of Frank Sinatra himself in the trailer for the film (http://www2.foxsearchlight.com/confetti/)

He has already been booked for America and the 2005 Rotary Club concert in front of 20000 people including The Queen to be shown live on the BBC. Many seasoned professionals have stated that Jim is the best singer of swing they have ever heard!

Jim recently appeared on on the John Darvall show on Saga Radio where one of his songs was played on air. The response from John and the other presenters was "WOW!! What a voice; that WAS Sinatra. Listeners I can tell you that we have a full studio today waiting to hear Jim sing and the reaction amongst us all was WOW!!"

The Frank Sinatra Society has previously booked Jim on several occasions with many commenting that Jim is the best they have ever heard. Jim also auditioned for the Rat Pack in the West End of London and the musical Director said that Jim has the best Sinatra voice he has come across in over 35 years.

Jim has just recorded the title song for the award winning new film "Confetti" to be released in April worldwide by Fox/Universal studios. The music director chose Jim as the best Sinatra sound he has ever heard in the world. Jim sings Cheek to Cheek.

Recent venues
Jim has sung at all the major theatres including his own sell out concert with an audience of over 800 at Dudley Town Hall with Chris Dean (SLO) as well as Big Band Swing weekends including The Glen Miller Festival in front of over 10000 and all types of parties from corporate to private.

Jim recently wowed another sold out audience at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall with a 32 piece live Orchestra and has had several further sell outs around the country with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. He has also been booked for the massive swing festival at Twinwoods at the owner's request. With weddings for corporate clients being booked 2 years in advance and even singing at event organisers' own weddings there is no better testament to Jim's quality and professionalism.

When time allows Jim enjoys singing with a touring Rat Pack show and is considering offers from Europe South Africa and the USA for tours next year.

He is also in the process of recording several original tracks one of which was written and accepted for but never recorded by Sinatra. It was given to Jim by the widow of the writer after she heard him sing and was amazed at how good he is.
